The Zombies "Odessey & Oracle"
Reference: Z/003/001,
Green Label, First press. Writing on backside!

"Odessey & Oracle" is probably the most famous "forgotten" album that became a hit decades
after its original release and it certainly deserve it as the second album of the Zombies is not far from the level of the Beatles or the Beach Boys and is considered
as one of the greatest album of all time.

Recorded to a tight budget and deadline, The Zombies used their sessions at Abbey Road and Olympic Studios so well that it is hardly noticeable, thanks to the wise and
expert use of a mellotron by Rod Argent to replace any expensive side musicians.
Because of the tensions created during the exhausting recording sessions, the band split before the album was released and ironically in early 1969, almost a year
later, the single "Time of the Season" became a surprise hit.

The famous anecdote about the misspelling of "Odyssey" in the title was the result of a mistake by the designer of the LP cover, Terry Quirk and "Odessey & Oracle"
became legendary!

(Note From the Author: I LOVE this album that is on my list of the 20 LP's I would bring to a desert island!).

We are proposing here the original US stereo release from 1967!
