Original UK stereo pressing from August 1966

"The Yardbirds" or "Roger The Engineer" as it is usually nicknamed, is a psychedelic blues-rock summit, the 60's English rock music at its best.
This is the first - and sole - studio album entirely composed by the band and every of the twelve songs is like a pearl on a string, visiting different and sometimes unexpected territories, from their original blues-rock into "wild sonic permutations of psychedelia, Indian music, avant-garde white noise" and their trademark vocal harmonies inspired by Gregorian chant!!…
To mention Jeff Beck's brilliant guitar playing - yes, he already found his style in 1966, at only 22 ! - would minimize the rest of the band's performances who is here at its best!
Well produced, perfect songs, played by excellent musicians, this record will please all rock fans and shows why The Yardbirds were then at the top of the Swinging London scene with Them, the Pretty Things, The Who, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks or the Small Faces.

(Note From The Author: nowadays, some so-called rock critics seem to consider The Beatles as the only band coming from the UK in the 60's, they should be tied and obliged to listen this album on a loop!).

We are proposing you here another piece of history as it is the original UK stereo pressing from August 1966 in a very good condition!!!
